The Suspect presented a note demanding cash and claiming he had a gun. He also made a verbal demand. The victim teller complied, providing the suspect with funds. The suspect walked out of the branch without furthur incident, heading west on foot.
Responding police investigators recognized video images as a suspect charged with four recent bank robberies. The FBI apprehended the suspect about one hour after the robbery. The suspect, Gerald Duggan, confessed to his robbery and the four he had been formally charged with.
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies.
