| Description: | On January 13, 2009, at approximately 2:48 pm, a man entered the Chase Bank, 4660 E. Main Street, Whitehall, wearing a hooded jacket with the hood up on his head, scarf around his face, and a silver gun in his right hand held straight down by his leg, and waited in line. When it was his turn, the man approached a teller and put his right hand holding the gun on the counter, tossed the teller a black plastic bag, and handed a teller a note demanding all the money in her drawer. The teller complied, removed money from her drawer, including a dye-pack, and placed it into the bag. The robber took the bag and fled the bank. Once outside, the dye-pack exploded, causing the robber to drop the bag containing most of the money, and the robber fled the area. The robber was described as a black male, approximately mid-late 20's of age, 5'7", medium build, wearing a dark hooded coat, tan scarf, blue jeans, and black shoes. |
