Description:

On Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at approximately 2:14 pm, a man wearing a Columbus Blue Jackets wind shirt entered the Chase Bank, 5684 W. Broad Street, Galloway, and walked up to a teller and handed her a note stating that he was robbing the bank and wanted cash.  Although no weapon was observed, the man kept his hand in his pocket as though he would pull one out if she didn’t cooperate.  The teller put a VERY SMALL amount of cash in a plastic bag the man handed her.  The man grabbed the bag and exited the bank.  He was observed entering a red colored vehicle, possibly a Pontiac, and drive away.  The robber was described as a white male, approximately 40’s – 50’s of age, 5’10”, medium to heavy build, wearing a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, dark colored Columbus Blue Jackets wind shirt, black shorts, and brown sandals.  The robber has been identified as Alan J. Garrett.
