Description:
On Friday, February 12, 2010, at approximately 7:45 am, a man previously dubbed the “Mothership Bandit” for his outlandish attire resembling someone right out of the band Parliament starring George Clinton, entered the Cooper State Bank, 1616 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus,  and walked up to a teller and handed her a note demanding cash  Employees immediately recognized the man as the same man who robbed another Cooper State Bank on W. Fifth Avenue in Columbus on January 8 of this year.  Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money from her drawer.  The robber took the money and fled the bank.  He was described as a black male, approximately 30’s-40’s of age, 6’1”, thin – medium build, wearing a baseball cap with duct tape over the logo, silver and orange sunglasses, tan jacket over a dark shirt, light-colored pants, and large work gloves.  Witnesses observed the man enter a silver-colored Kia and drive away.   The robber has been identified as Dennis M.
