On February 13, 2014 at approximately 7:12 am an unknown male black entered the Cooper State Bank, located at 1616 E. Dublin Granville Rd, and gave the victim teller a note demanding money. The victim teller complied with the demand and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The suspect was described as a M/B/ in his mid to late 20′s, approximately 5’10″-5’11″, 220-230 lbs, wearing a black ball cap, black hooded jacket and black pants. Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect are asked to call the Columbus Police Robbery Squad at 645-4665. Update – The robber has been identified as Lee Brock Clayborne.
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies.
