| Description: | On Thursday, April 29, 2010, at approximately 7:48 am, a man wearing a hooded jacket, black mask, and brandishing a knife entered the Cooper State Bank, 5090 N. High Street, Columbus, and walked up to a teller and demanded cash, stating no one would get hurt if they cooperated. The teller complied and removed a small amount of money from her drawer and handed it to the robber. The robber took the money, said, “Thank you,” then exited the same door he entered. The robber was observed walking quickly northbound from the bank, then eastbound in an alley. Columbus police officers responded to the area and found the robber’s discarded jacket, but not the robber. The robber was described as a black male, approximately 20’s of age, 5’9”, medium build, wearing a dark hooded jacket with the hood up, black mask, blue jean shorts, and dark shoes. |
