| Description: | On Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at approximately 8:05 am, a man entered the Cooper State Bank, 1616 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, and walked up to the teller counter where he placed a white bag on the counter and told an employee he was robbing the bank. The man kept one hand inside his coat pocket as though he had a weapon, although none was observed. The teller complied, removed money from her drawer, and placed it into the bag. The robber took the bag containing the money and fled the bank. Witnesses saw the robber enter a vehicle and got the license plate number and provide it to responding Columbus police officers. The officers ran the tag and learned that the vehicle was registered to Wenwoy G. Brown. Mr. Brown was subsequently charged with the bank robbery after witnesses positively identified him. |

All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
