On October 31, 2012, at approximately 9:43 a.m., a white male (unsub) entered the Fairfield National Bank located at 1280 North Memorial Drive in Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Unsub was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored hooded jacket, gloves, a black ski mask and carrying a black bag.
Unsub approached the first victim teller, pointed a pistol at her and placed the black bag on the counter. Unsub then told the first victim teller to give him the money and to hurry. The first victim teller placed her money into the bag. Unsub then went down the counter and demanded money from two other victim tellers who also placed money into the black bag. Unsub took possession of the black bag and departed the bank on foot.
During the time of the bank robbery, a witness outside of the bank observed a white male wearing only blue jeans and a shirt running near the bank then enter a light blue sedan with a temporary license plate (partial tag 2708).
Unsub was described as a white male, 5’9” to 6’)’, medium build, 30 to 40 years old, with a blonde moustache.
