| Description: | On Saturday, February 20, 2010, at approximately 9:42 am, a man wearing a hooded jacket and dark sunglasses, believed to be the “Suburban Bank Robber,” entered the Farmers Citizens Bank, 2821 Fishinger Road, in Upper Arlington, and stated that he was robbing the bank and wanted money from the teller’s drawer. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money. The robber took the money and fled the bank. Witnesses saw the man enter a blue-colored 1990’s 4-door Chevy Cavalier with Ohio tags and drive away. The robber was described as a white male, approximately 20’s-30’s of age, 5’10”, medium build, unshaven, wearing a dark hooded jacket, aviator-type sunglasses, blue jeans, dark shoes, and dark gloves. Witnesses at the bank immediately recognized the robber as the man dubbed the “Suburban Bank Robber” as he has hit banks in both Reynoldsburg and Worthington. The robber has been identified as Joseph E. Adams. |
