On Monday, 10/22/18 at approximately 10:13 AM, Fifth Third Bank’s Red Coach branch located at 2700 N. Limestone St. in Springfield, OH, experienced a robbery. A well-disguised suspect entered the financial center through the front entrance and approached the teller and handed her a note implying that he had a gun and demanded money and no dye packs. The teller complied and gave the robber money. The robber exited the building and ran down the adjacent bicycle path. The robber, believed to be male, was described as 6-6’4” tall, stocky build, wearing a knit hat, a dark curly wig, dark sunglasses, a plaid scarf wrapped around his face, grey sweatshirt/sweatpants, and white latex gloves.

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies.
