| Description: | On Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at approximately 1:19 pm, a man wearing a Centerville football hooded sweatshirt entered the Fifth Third Bank, 1960 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio, and stood in line at the teller area. A teller looked up as the man approached and saw him wearing the sweatshirt and was about to ask him if he knew some friends of his from Centerville when the man handed the teller a note stating that he had a gun and was robbing the bank. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money from his drawer. The robber took the money and fled the bank. It is unknown whether the teller and the robber know the same people, but we hope to find out! The robber was described as a white male, approximately 30's-40's of age, 5'9", medium build, dark hair and moustache, wearing prescription glasses, a black hooded Centerville football sweatshirt, jeans, and dark shoes. The robebr has been identified as Richard H. Aldrich. |
