| Description: | On Monday, May 7, 2012, at approximately 10:15 am, a man wearing a Cincinnati Reds Jersey and a Ohio State Visor entered the Fifth Third Bank inside the Kroger store at 2161 Eakin Road, Columbus, Ohio , and handed the bank teller a note demanding money. The teller removed money from the drawer and gave it to the robber. The robber fled and headed to the front of the store with the money. The robber was described as a white male, aproximately mid-thirties years of age, 5′2″, thin build, approximately 130-140 lbs, with short light hair, redish complexion and wearing a Cincinnati Reds Jersey and an Ohio State Visor. The bandit is being dubbed the “Cool Cucumber Bandit” due to his calm demeanor through-out the robbery. |
