| Description: | On December 12, 2008 at approximately 8:01 am, two armed men wearing masks and hoodies confronted a female employee as she attempted to open the rear door of the bank. As the employee was trying to open the door at gunpoint, a male employee that worked in the same building came around the corner and startled the two would-be robbers, causing them to flee the area. Both robbers were described as black males, unknown age, approximately 6'0", medium build, wearing all dark clothing. |
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Persons wishing to submit a tip via email or telephone are not required to furnish any personal or identifying information, however if you wish to be considered for a reward through the Public Eyes organization, you will need to furnish your true name and contact info so that investigators will be able to contact you for additional information if needed as well as verify your identity. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
