On Monday, April 6, 2009 at approximately 2:11 pm, a man wearing a dark hoodie entered the First Community Bank, 647 N. High Street, Columbus, and walked straight up to a teller where he demanded money.  The man kept his hand inside his hoodie as though he had a weapon, although no weapon was observed.  The teller complied and gave the robber money from his drawer.  The robber took the money and fled the bank.  The robber was described as a black, male, approximately 30's of age, 5'9", stocky build, goatee and moustache, wearing a dark blue hoodie with the hood up, red jersey, dark khaki pants, dark shoes, and dark gloves. 

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Persons wishing to submit a tip via email or telephone are not required to furnish any personal or identifying information, however if you wish to be considered for a reward through the Public Eyes organization, you will need to furnish your true name and contact info so that investigators will be able to contact you for additional information if needed as well as verify your identity. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
