On March 20, 2014 at approximately 9:20 am an unknown male black entered the Huntington Bank, located at 1600 Bethel Rd, Columbus, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim employee complied with the demand and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The suspect was described as a male black in his mid to late 20′s, 5’8″-5’10″, 180 lbs wearing a black hat, black scarf over face, black jacket, and khaki pants.
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Persons wishing to submit a tip via email or telephone are not required to furnish any personal or identifying information, however if you wish to be considered for a reward through the Public Eyes organization, you will need to furnish your true name and contact info so that investigators will be able to contact you for additional information if needed as well as verify your identity. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
