On January 6, 2009 at approximately 3:00 pm, a man entered the Huntington Bank, 121 Georgesville Road, Columbus, and was observed writing on a bank slip at a counter in the lobby.  The man then approached a teller and showed a note demanding cash.  Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money from her drawer.  The robber took the money and fled the bank.  The robber was described as a white male, approximately 50's of age, 5'8", medium build, wearing a dark toboggan, maroon jacket, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. 


The robber has been identified as Mark D. Jones.

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies.
