| Description: | On Monday, August 3, 2009 at approximately 9:21 am, a man with what appeared to be a tattoo of an eyeball on the back of his neck entered the Huntington Bank, 121 Georgesville Road, Columbus, and after waiting in line, approached a bank teller where he handed her a note stating that he had a weapon, was robbing the bank, and wanted cash. The robber then placed a small, zippered bag on the counter. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and placed money from her drawer into the bag. The robber took the bag containing the money and exited the bank. Once outside, witnesses saw the man enter an older light blue-colored vehicle driven by a white male wearing a white t-shirt and drive away. A witness standing in line behind the robber stated that it appeared that the robber had a tattoo on the back of his neck depicting an eyeball. The robber was further described as a white male, approximately 20's of age, 5'8", thin build, wearing a black Pittsburgh Pirates baseball cap, red long-sleeved OSU t-shirt, baggy blue jeans, and blue tennis shoes. Investigators aren't sure if the robber was wearing a darker shirt under the OSU t-shirt or if the robber had extensive tattooing. The robber has been identified as Christopher G. Moore. |
