On May 18th 2017 at 11:45am an unknown male white entered the Huntington Bank located inside Giant Eagle at 3841 S. Hamilton Road and displayed a handgun to the teller and demanded money. The teller complied with the demand and handed the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The suspect fled the bank on a black motorcycle towards the rear of Giant Eagle. The suspect was described as a male white 20 to 30yrs old, 5’6″ 140lbs dark hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, baseball hat and black sunglasses. Update – the robber has been identified as James Jenkins.

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies.
