Description:

On Friday, May 7, 2010 at approximately 1:57 pm, a man wearing a dark baseball cap and sunglasses entered the Huntington Bank, 4466 N. High Street, Columbus, and walked to a check cashing stand in the lobby where he appeared to be waiting for a customer to leave.  Once the customer left the counter, the man walked up to a teller and placed multiple papers on the counter, including a large, white envelope that appeared to have writing on it.  The envelope was too far away for the teller to read, so the man leaned in and said, “Hurry up!”  It was at that time that the teller observed that the man had brandished a dark-colored semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at her.  The teller removed money from her drawer and handed it to the robber.  The robber then went to a second teller and demanded cash at gunpoint.  That teller complied as well.  The man took off out of the bank and was observed heading southbound towards Henderson Road.  The robber was described as a black male, approximately 20’s-30’s of age, 5’9, medium build, wearing a black baseball cap backwards, large glasses, blue and white windbreaker, and blue jeans.  The robber chomped on a pen he had in his mouth during the entire bank robbery.   The robber has been identified as Myron J. Green.
