On February 5, 2013, at approximately 1:10 PM, a suspect wearing a grey hooded jacket, black scarf across his face and dark pants entered the Kemba Financial Credit Union, 4311 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio, and walked directly to the Teller’s Counter where he demanded the Teller give him the cash. The Teller removed the money from the drawer and handed it to the robber who then fled the bank. The suspect ran out of the bank and was observed fleeing the area in a white Ford truck. The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, 5’06” and a small build.
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Persons wishing to submit a tip via email or telephone are not required to furnish any personal or identifying information, however if you wish to be considered for a reward through the Public Eyes organization, you will need to furnish your true name and contact info so that investigators will be able to contact you for additional information if needed as well as verify your identity. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
