| Description: | On June 4, 2009 at approximately 9:35 am, a man entered the Key Bank, 1119 S. Hamilton Road, Whitehall, and handed a teller a note stating that he had a gun. The man told the teller that he was robbing the bank and wanted cash. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber a small amount of money. The robber took the money and fled the bank. He was apprehended a short distance from the bank by responding Whitehall police officers. The robber has been identified as Anthony Farmer. |
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
