Description:

On December 16, 2008 at approximately 9:36 am, a man entered National City Bank, 1850 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, and after waiting in line briefly, approached a teller before she was ready for him.  As the teller was attempting to put away the night deposit bag from the previous customer, the man approached with his hand in his pocket as though he had a weapon, then handed her a note.  Before the teller could even read the note, she could tell that the man was trying to rob the bank.  The teller backed away from the counter with the previous customer's night deposit bag, and the robber slammed his hand down on the counter and grabbed a different night deposit bag.  The man turned and ran out of the bank northbound, carrying the bag. The robber was described as a black male, approximately  20's of age, 5'7", medium build, moustache, wearing a dark toboggan hat, grey and black winter coat, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
