On January 6, 2009 at approximately 2:25 pm, a man wearing a doctor's mask, sunglasses, and hoodie entered the National City Bank, 2700 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, and immediately hurdled the teller counter.  The robber removed money from several drawers, including a dye-pack, and fled the bank.  The robber dropped some of the money while he ran southbound away from the bank.  A witness at a nearby barbershop indicated that the robber made his get-away on a bicycle.   It is unknown if the dye-pack exploded.  The robber was described as a black male, approximately 30's-40's of age, 5'10"
