On September 26, shortly after 1510hrs, the Park National Bank located inside Kroger (1365 Stoneridge Drive) was robbed by the individual in the attached photos (“Punisher” t-shirt). The suspect presented a note, which requested specific denominations and stated, “I’m armed”. The suspect apologized several times throughout the course of the incident, noting he was in a, “tough spot.” The teller complied with the suspect’s demand and placed his till money into a red drawstring bag. The suspect fled the store on foot and is believed to have gotten into a white 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. During the course of the investigation, it has been determined that the suspect is believed to have robbed four other businesses (non-banks) prior to our bank robbery in other jurisdictions. Update – the robber has been identified as Kelsey Joe Grassel.

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
