| Description: | On Friday, May 7, 2010 at approximately 2:03 pm, a man wearing what could be described as having a retro-looking appearance entered the PNC Bank, 1850 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus and told a teller that he was robbing the bank and wanted money. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money from her drawer. The robber took the money and fled the bank. The robber was described as a white male, approximately 30’s of age, 5’5”, medium build, long, dark hair believed to possibly be a wig, colorful red bandanna on his head, small sunglasses, thin moustache and sideburns, dark-colored long-sleeved OSU shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes. The robber has been identified as Michael J. Wellman. |
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies.
