On Tuesday, 4/25/17, at about 10:26am, a suspect entered the PNC Lancaster Plaza, 1637 N. Memorial Dr., Lancaster OH carrying a backpack. The suspect immediately approached the victim teller station. The victim teller asked the suspect to remove his hat and hood but he refused, instead presenting a robbery note demanding cash. No weapon was observed. The victim teller complied, providing the suspect funds from her teller drawer. The suspect left without further incident and fled the scene eastbound on foot. No vehicle was observed. The robber was described as a Male, African American, Dark Complexion, Late Teens/Early 20’s, 6’0”, Thin-Athletic Build, Grey Hoodie, dark gloves, black pants, dark backpack.

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
