On June 2, 2018, at approximately 9:45 am, a man entered the PNC Bank, 3735 S. High Street, Columbus, and stood at the front of the counter. The teller called the suspect to his window and began to conduct a transaction. The suspect produced a demand note, indicating that he had a bomb, and the teller complied by handing over cash from the drawer. The suspect collected the cash and the demand note and then left. A device was not seen by any of the employees in the bank. There was not any vehicle information. The robber is described as a M/W 5’8 to 5’10, 180-200lbs, white long sleeve shirt, gray pants, camouflage ball cap, and full beard with a mustache ( Red or Auburn hair).

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Persons wishing to submit a tip via email or telephone are not required to furnish any personal or identifying information, however if you wish to be considered for a reward through the Public Eyes organization, you will need to furnish your true name and contact info so that investigators will be able to contact you for additional information if needed as well as verify your identity. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
