| Description: | On Thursday, June 24, 2010, at approximately 4:39 pm, a man believed to be the “Retro Robber” entered the PNC Bank, 4550 N. High Street, Columbus, and approached a teller where he demanded cash. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money from her drawer. The robber took the money, placed it into an envelope he brought with him into the bank, and ran out the door. The robber was described as a white male, approximately 30’s-40’s of age, 5’5”, medium build, wearing a grey-colored toboggan hat, glasses, dark sleeveless shirt, blue shorts with a white stripe, white sox, and white tennis shoes. Law enforcement believes that this same man may have robbed the PNC Bank, 1850 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, on 5/07/2010 wearing a retro-look, that is, long, dark wig, multi-colored doo-rag on his head, and sunglasses. The robber has been identified as Michael J. Wellman. |
