| Description: | On Friday, March 13, 2009 at approximately 10:24 am, a man entered the Union Savings Bank, 1330 Morse Road, Columbus, and was observed writing on a deposit slip at the check-writing counter in the lobby. The man then approached a bank teller where he handed her a note which stated he was robbing the bank and wanted the money. The man leaned in and told the teller that he had a gun and wanted the money fast. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber a small amount of cash. The robber took the money and ran out of the bank. Witnesses saw the man run westbound along a fence line near a McDonald's and possibly enter a small, dark-colored vehicle, taking off quickly out of the area. The robber was described as a white male, approximately 30's of age, 5'11", medium build, wearing a light-colored camouflage baseball cap, blue long-sleeve denim shirt, blue jeans, and dirty tennis shoes. The robber has been identified as Shane A. Deltedesco. |
