On 10/27/17 at approximately 9:45 am, a man entered the US Bank, 5020 N. High Street, Columbus, and ran to the counter. He had a back pack in his left hand with the left hand concealed inside the bag. He said he had a gun and threatened to shoot the teller. He demanded 100’s and 20’s with no dye packs or trackers. The teller complied and the suspect fled the bank. He is seen on video getting on a mountain bike (possibly purple in color) and going northbound on N. High St. Suspect: Male White, 5’9 to 5’11, black ski mask, black hoodie, backpack (white lettering that spells “NIKE” with the swoosh emblem).

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
