On 12/11/17, at approximately 4:00 pm, a man entered the Kroger store at 3637 S. High St, Columbus, where he approached the teller counter and passed a note.  The victim teller advised the man that he needed to remove his sunglasses and wool cap before they would do business with him.  The would-be robber refused and demanded that the teller read the note.  The teller repeated that he needed to remove his hat and sunglasses before she would do business with him.  The man took the note and exited the establishment without obtaining any money.  The suspect was described as a male white, approximately 25-30 years of age, 5’8 to 6’0, 130 to 160lbs, brown goatee, wearing sunglasses, wool cap, black hoody, blue fleece or neck warmer underneath and jeans. Update – the robber has been identified as Michael Calvert.
