Description:

On Monday, May 10, 2010, at approximately 3:00 pm, a man entered the Giant Eagle store, located at 1000 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, and after being observed loitering around nearby, walked up to the US Bank teller counter and asked an employee if she could give him change for a $20 bill.   As the employee began to get the change, the man mumbled something and she realized that he had something written on a piece of paper but she was unable to read it.  The man pulled out a black colored semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at the teller and demanded cash.  The teller removed $687.00 from her drawer and handed it to the robber.  The robber took the money and fled the store.  The robber was described as a black male, approximately 30’s of age, 6’2”, medium build, wearing a dark Fedora hat, glasses, dark jacket with white stripes, and dark pants.  The gun was described as having red stain somewhere on the gun.  Once the man was outside, Columbus police officers responding to the scene spotted a man matching the description of the robber as he tried to gain entrance into occupied vehicles on Busch Blvd.  Officers gave chase and were able to apprehend the man.  The robber has been identified as Myron J. Green.
