On July 3, 2018, at approximately 3:08 pm, a man entered the US Bank, 10 W. Broad St, and walked directly to a teller at the teller counter. The man handed the teller a demand note demanding cash. The teller complied and gave money to the robber as well as an envelope. The robber placed the envelope on the counter and fled with the money leaving his note behind. The robber is described as a black male, approximately 35-45 years of age, 5’10”-5’11”, average build, bald, wearing a light blue/denim button-down short-sleeve shirt with flaps over the breast pockets.

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Persons wishing to submit a tip via email or telephone are not required to furnish any personal or identifying information, however if you wish to be considered for a reward through the Public Eyes organization, you will need to furnish your true name and contact info so that investigators will be able to contact you for additional information if needed as well as verify your identity. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
