On Monday, September 15, 2003 at approximately 9:37 a.m., two armed men wearing surgical masks entered the US Bank, 2970 E. Main Street, Columbus, and ordered customers and employees to the floor.  One of the men jumped the teller counter and removed money from the teller drawers.  The other man kept watch over the employees and customers in the lobby.  Once the men had obtained money, they exited the bank and fled the area.  Both men were described as black males, approximately 20's-30's of age, 5'8" – 6'0", thin build, wearing dark grey sweatshirts with the hoods up, surgical masks, and dark pants. 

The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Persons wishing to submit a tip via email or telephone are not required to furnish any personal or identifying information, however if you wish to be considered for a reward through the Public Eyes organization, you will need to furnish your true name and contact info so that investigators will be able to contact you for additional information if needed as well as verify your identity. All reasonable efforts will be made by law enforcement investigators and the Public Eyes organization to keep your identity confidential. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
