| Description: | On Friday, September 3, 2010, at approximately 1:35 pm, a woman entered the WesBanco Bank, 2700 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, and walked up to a teller where she held up a robbery note which stated that she was robbing the bank and would shoot the teller if she did not give her money. Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money from her drawer. The robber took the money and fled the bank. The robber was described as a black female, approximately 30’s – 40’s of age, 5’5” stocky build, wearing a tan plaid baseball cap, glasses, blue t-shirt, dark pants, and white shoes. The woman was carrying a satchel over her shoulder. The robber has been identified as Sylvete P. Gilbert. |
The Public Eyes organization pays rewards to individuals who provide tip information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible for committing central Ohio bank robberies. Regardless of whether you submit a tip anonymously or otherwise, if submitting a tip via email, you must complete the security box verifying the letters as shown so that the email message will be deemed authentic and pass through the server.
