On 9-29-2017 at 5:59pm, a man entered the Wright Patt Credit Union at 3134 N. High St., Columbus, and briefly waited for two customers to move away from the customer service counter. The subject approached the employee and presented a demand note. The note read something to the effect of, “Give me all the money from both drawers. No buttons. No alarms. No dye packs.” The employee explained that the credit union does all transactions via ATM machines and they have no money to give him. The would-be robber took his note and fled on foot eastbound then northbound in an alley. No money given to the man. The next day, the same man was recognized by a Columbus police officer as he attempted to rob a different bank. The man was taken into custody. Update – the would-be robber has been identified as Jordan Gray.
